TDJBCF empowers communities through breast cancer awareness, education, prevention, and support. Through outreach, partnerships, and accessible resources, we serve women, men, young girls, survivors, families, and caregivers—helping reduce barriers to care and the impact of breast cancer in underserved communities.

Lobby and testify regularly with legislators in partnership with the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) which has resulted locally in increased funding for the breast and cervical cancer program, sustaining funding of tobacco control programs, and increasing the tax on all tobacco products.
Brea Hickson is a go-getter. She is notorious for going after the things she wants and not afraid to learn through the process. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University and a Master of Business Administration from Liberty University. She is married to her college sweetheart Johnnie, an active duty Army Officer and a loving mother to her three children, Alaina, Raina, and Johnnie IV.
Jacqueline Beale is a native of Washington, DC and is a current resident of Glenn Dale, Maryland. Jacqueline is a two-time 19-year breast cancer survivor. Her passion for ensuring access to adequate, affordable and integrated healthcare has led her to several volunteer opportunities and leadership roles.
